The studio
We're DYSTNCT, a Seattle studio of directors, editors, designers and 3D artists. Since 2012 we've made hundreds of commercials, films, animations and visual effects for top brands & agencies, from Amazon and Microsoft to Robinhood and JBL.
Capabilities
Most projects need more than one. We bring directing, editing, motion design and 3D animation together, plus VFX, live-action production, color and sound, so an idea goes from treatment to final frame without changing hands.
From treatment to final frame. We cast, scout, light and shoot, then stay with the footage all the way through post.
Story is made in the edit. We cut spots, brand films and series, then version them for every screen they will play on.
Design-led animation that explains, sells and entertains: explainers, broadcast and social systems, UI and titles.
Product launches, CG commercials, simulations and immersive installs, built with the newest tools in rendering and simulation.
